# Wing Commander 4 It was tested this on Win 95-98. It did not tested for DOS but it should work there too. 1. Locate the saved game directory on the hard drive, most likely called WC4w OR WC4 depending on your OS. 2. Using a hex editor such as PC Tools or Hex Workshop, etc., edit the saved mission you wish to edit. Saved games are saved under files with .WSG extension, and the first saved game is listed as 00000000.WSG (assuming, that is, that you have saved a game first). Using the editor, up to 255 weapons can be carried in each hardpoint, making the game more even on harder settings. Change the OFFSET / HEX to the values listed below for more weapons japes. Change the following to 'FF' for 255 weapons in each hardpoint: OFFSET: / HEX: Dragon: 1860 / 744 1884 / 75C 1908 / 774 1932 / 78C 1956 / 7A4 1980 / 7BC Hellcat: 2208 / 8A0 2232 / 8B8 Longbow: 2556 / 9FC 2580 / A14 2604 / A2C 2628 / A44 2652 / A5C 2676 / A74 Banshee: 3252 / CB4 3276 / CCC 3300 / CE4 3324 / CFC Avenger: 3600 / E10 3624 / E28 3648 / E40 3672 / E58 3696 / E70 3720 / E88 Windicator: 3948 / F6C 3972 / F84 3996 / F9C 4020 / FB4 |
